The complete weight of every chain and bracelet we offer, in grams, by style, width and length. All figures are for solid 925 sterling silver, and match the weight table on each product page.
Weight is the most useful number in a chain listing and the one most often missing. It tells you how substantial a piece will feel, and — because sterling has a fixed density of roughly 10,3 grams per cubic centimetre — it also tells you whether a chain is solid, which the 925 stamp cannot. This page is just the data.

What the numbers tell you
Length scales predictably. Going from 50 to 60 cm adds about a fifth — between 19 and 23% depending on the style and width — and from 19 to 22 cm on a bracelet adds between 11 and 18%. If you know one length you can estimate the others to within a few grams, but read across the row rather than trusting a single percentage.
Width does not scale predictably across styles. Take four necklaces at the same 50 cm: a 4,7 mm Franco weighs 55 g and a wider 5,7 mm rope only 48 g; a 6 mm Cuban weighs 49 g and a wider 6,4 mm curb 43 g. Millimetres describe the profile; grams describe the metal. Compare within a style, not across.
The range is wider than it looks. The lightest piece we offer is a 19 cm rope bracelet at 13 g. The heaviest is a 60 cm Cuban link at 214 g — sixteen times as much silver.
What each weight feels like
- Under 20 g. You stop noticing it within a day. Most of our bracelets, and no necklace.
- 35 – 50 g. Present but unobtrusive. Our fine necklaces, worn daily without thinking about them.
- 65 – 100 g. Noticeable throughout the day in a way most people like. The middle of the necklace range.
- Over 130 g. You feel this one on, and that is the point of it. The weight is what makes a wide chain hold its curve and read as a single piece of metal rather than a row of links. Our 10,5 and 12,2 mm Cubans and the 11,3 mm curb live here.
